Who doesn’t love decadent waffles with fruit topping for breakfast? Making this with frozen toaster waffles makes me feel like calling this a “recipe” is a bit of a stretch. However, I find Eggo Waffles less chewy and easier to swallow than the homemade waffles I’ve tried. When I find a waffle recipe that works for me, I’ll link to it from here. The thing I like about this recipe is that if you let the fruit soak in a bit, it makes the waffle nice and soft.

  • 1 Eggo Waffle
  • 3-4 strawberries
  • 1 pad of butter (optional)
  • whipped cream (optional)
  • maple syrup (optional)

  1. Toast the waffle to your liking.
  2. Blend the strawberries to your desired consistency.
  3. Top your waffle with butter, blended strawberries, maple syrup and whipped cream.
  4. Enjoy!

    • Hi Brandon! Unfortunately I don’t think we get those in Canada. Sounds good though! I’ll have to look out for them next time I go over the border.
